About the author
Samual Nathaniel Brown founded 10P in 2014, inside California State Prison, Sacramento, and has built it into a statewide emotional-literacy organization based in Los Angeles. He created the Boys 2 Men program, T.H.E. B.R.A.I.N. Project and the B.E.L.T. curriculum, and wrote the Theory of Emotional Illiteracy-Based Criminality. His work starts from one belief: people change when they learn to read themselves, read the room and respond with intention.
